Produs cu actiune antivirala, caracterizat prin aceea ca este un extract apos de propolis 5% cu pH=3,5...4,5 de culoare galben-brun, cu aspect opalescent, care, la centrifugare la 3000 rot/min, timp de 30 min, depune un depozit brun-deschis, insolubil în apa, constituit dintr-un amestec de flavonoizi liberi si derivati tanici ai acestora, produsul prezentînd o actiune de inactivare în suspensie a virusului Herpes simplex I si de inhibare a multiplicarii virale în sisteme biologice a culturilor de celule diploide umane.
