UNIFORMA DE PROTECȚIE PENTRU PERSONALUL MEDICAL DE URGENTAPROTECTIVE UNIFORM FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL

DESCRIEREDESCRIPTION

The invention refers to a protective clothing system in a modular structure intended to protect emergency medical personnel against the multiple dangers specific to intervention missions.

The nature of the work of emergency medical personnel places them among the top professions that deal with a considerable number of health and safety risks at work, which are often unavoidable. frequently they do not face a single risk factor but a complex combination of risk factors, including the unpredictability of the situations/conditions in which they have to work.

The specificity of intervention missions makes emergency medical personnel face, during incidents, a multitude of known and unknown threats, including violent people, white weapons, contaminants, toxic substances (blood and other body fluids), etc. That is why there are frequent situations in which emergency medical personnel are not equipped with the best and/or the most appropriate personal protective equipment against the risks specific to the intervention action.

The service uniform is the standard set of clothing worn daily by emergency medical personnel, in many cases, this may be the only clothing worn during duty. The development of a service uniform in the form of personal protective equipment that provides limited protection against a range of hazards is a necessity for emergency medical personnel. Emergency medical personnel operate in unpredictable environments and may encounter threats before they can use the most appropriate personal protective equipment. Ideally, the service uniform should help protect medical personnel against the most common threats: fire, blood-borne pathogens, projectiles/white weapons, and extreme weather conditions. Additional layers can later be put on, gradually and systematically increasing the degree of protection of emergency medical personnel against specific threats.

To ensure adequate protection of emergency medical personnel, the main technical challenges are to create a modular system, built on a service uniform that provides limited protection and physiological benefits (e.g. moisture/sweat absorption) in combination with a series of modular layers , specific to the intervention mission, to ensure specialized protection.

Different solutions are known for making the base layer, the service uniform from the structure of a protective clothing system intended for intervention actions in emergency situations.

Mustapha S. Fofana et al., in US patent 057076 propose a multi-layer protective clothing comprising a toxicity barrier layer, an impact protection layer and an absorbent layer, layers integrated or bonded/consolidated in a complementary manner, which protect carriers, such as emergency workers, against the multiple hazards often present in a response area.

Joey K. Underwood, in US patent 8209785, proposes garments with fire-resistant properties made from a fabric containing a blend of fibers including about 30-60% meta-aramid fibers and about 20-50% cellulosic fibers flame retardants, based on the weight of the material, which can be used by the military, emergency workers or industrial workers.

Roy J. Spiewak et al., in US patent 0061146, proposes a solution for creating a service uniform that presents structural and design features that make it more functional, more comfortable and more attractive and that is intended for emergency workers in particular those who need, in intervention actions, special equipment such as: portable radio stations, bulletproof vests or other types of protective armor, worn under or over the uniform.

Vera DE GLAS, in patent EP 3165258, proposes a solution for the production of protective clothing for firefighters, a multilayer structure that includes an outer fabric resistant to flame and abrasion, the sealing barrier - a film impermeable to water and a thermal barrier formed from a double fabric to form air channels between two parts of the material.

Such articles of clothing have the disadvantage that they are often unable to provide a satisfactory level of protection, are difficult to handle and uncomfortable for the wearer.

Problema pe care o rezolva invenția consta in alegerea materialelor din structura straturilor de îmbrăcăminte, a combinației de materiale si a soluțiilor de integrare a acestora in structura sistemului de îmbrăcăminte de protecție astfel incat sa răspundă capabilitatilor necesare domeniului sanatatii si siguranței personalului medical de urgenta in următoarele specificatii tehnice:The problem that the invention solves consists in choosing the materials from the structure of the layers of clothing, the combination of materials and the solutions for integrating them into the structure of the protective clothing system in such a way as to respond to the abilities necessary for the field of health and safety of emergency medical personnel in the following Technical specifications:

• uniforma de serviciu sa ofere:• the service uniform should offer:

o protecție suplimentara localizata in anumite zone ale corpului (de ex. genunchi, antebrațe, spate, gat, etc.);additional protection located in certain areas of the body (e.g. knees, forearms, back, neck, etc.);

• straturi modulare specifice misiunii de intervenție care se pot imbraca si dezbrăcă cu ușurința si asigura un echilibru intre confortul in purtare, durabilitate si dexteritate.• modular layers specific to the intervention mission that can be put on and taken off with ease and ensure a balance between wearing comfort, durability and dexterity.

The protective clothing system in the modular structure intended for emergency medical personnel (fig.l), according to the invention, solves the problem posed by the fact that it consists of three different layers of clothing: the first layer (1), worn in direct contact with the skin, a suit consisting of a blouse made of 85% cotton fibres/15% polypropylene yarns, with a mass of 200 - 230 g/m 2 and trousers made of a fabric of a mixture of fibers including approximately 30 - 60% aramid fibres, 20-50% flame retardant cellulosic fibers, 1020% polyamide fibers, 2% antistatic fibers with a mass of 190-220 g/m 2 , followed by the second layer (2), cut/puncture protection, a jacket made of tricot from high-tenacity polyethylene fibers in combination with other technical fibers, weighing 440-450 g/m 2 and the third layer (3), on the outside, the protective layer specific to the intervention mission, the short one made of a layered textile support, 3-layer laminate: outer layer: 100% PES fabric + intermediate layer·, PTFE film+ inner layer·, 100% PA tricot, impermeable, mass 180-200 g/m 2 .

Sistemul de îmbrăcăminte de protecție pentru personalul medical de urgenta, conform invenției, prezintă următoarele avantaje:The protective clothing system for emergency medical personnel, according to the invention, presents the following advantages:

• capacitate de protecție la factorii de risc specifici acțiunilor de intervenție si proprietăți de confort imbunatatite prin integrarea in stratul 1 (pantaloni) a fibrelor aramidice, cu deosebite proprietăți de protecție la riscuri termice (căldură si foc) si/sau riscuri mecanice in amestec cu fibre celulozice ignifuge si in stratul 1 (bluza) a tricotului cu structura cu doua fete, fiecare fata avand proprietăți si funcționalități diferite: fata interioara (in contact cu pielea) realizata din fire hidrofobe polipropilenice- care permit difuzia transpirației către fata exterioara realizata din fire 100% bbc cu capacitate ridicata de absorbție a umidității;• protective capacity against risk factors specific to intervention actions and improved comfort properties by integrating in layer 1 (trousers) aramid fibers, with special protective properties against thermal risks (heat and fire) and/or mechanical risks mixed with flame retardant cellulose fibers and in layer 1 (blouse) of the tricot with a two-sided structure, each side having different properties and functionalities: the inner side (in contact with the skin) made of hydrophobic polypropylene threads - which allow perspiration to diffuse to the outer side made of threads 100% bbc with high moisture absorption capacity;
