Abstract
Invenţia se referă la un procedeu de obţinere a pulberii sinterizabile de iridiu, dintr-un aliaj Ir-Pt cu 6% platină, destinată fabricării discurilor de iridiu necesare producerii de surse de iradiere. Procedeul conform invenţiei constă, iniţial, în brichetarea cu pulbere de zinc a aliajului, urmată de tratamentul termic al brichetelor la temperatura de 800°C, timp de 8 h, şi de îndepărtarea zincului liber cu acid clorhidric. Pulberea rămasă se tratează cu apă regală, la cald, timp de 4 h, pentru îndepărtarea platinei, după care are loc tratamentul termic la temperatura de 900°C, în hidrogen, timp de 10 h. Pulberea obţinută este supusă testelor de sintetizare.
