Abstract
Invenţia se referă la un soi de pepene verde (Citrullus vulgaris Schrad) tetraploid, cu denumirea de Bogdana, obţinut prin recombinare genetică, consangvinizare şi selecţie, având ca genitori soiurile tetraploide Ioana şi Victoria, recomandat a fi cultivat în Câmpia Română pentru consum în stare proaspătă. Este un tetraploid (2x = 44 cromozomi) cu tulpina principală lungă de 2,16 plus sau minus 0,02 m, cu 8,68 plus sau minus 0,22 ramuri pe o plantă, la sfârşitul perioadei de vegetaţie şi cu 286,37 plus sau minus 1,7 frunze pe plantă. Frunza este lungă de 14,71 cm şi lată de 15,24 cm, fructul este rotund, are coaja groasă de 0,7 cm şi culoarea exocarpului verde deschis, cu nervuri de culoare verde. Intr-un fruct, se găsesc în medie 119,14 plus sau minus 0,9 seminţe. Sămânţa are lungimea de 11,10 mm, lăţimea de 7,16 mm şi grosimea de 2,45 mm. Greutatea a 1000 de seminţe este de 78 g. Este un soi timpuriu cu 64 zile perioada de vegetaţie, rezistent la boli şi dăunători. Fructul conţine 10,56% zahăr şi realizează o producţie de 62.550 kg/ha fructe.The invention relates to a tetraploid variety (Citrullus vulgaris Schrad), known as Bogdana, obtained by genetic recombination, inbred and selection, having the genus of tetraploid varieties Ioana and Victoria, recommended to be cultivated in the Romanian Plain for consumption in the state fresh. It is a tetraploid (2x = 44 chromosomes) with a main strain of 2.16 plus or minus 0.02 m, with 8.68 plus or minus 0.22 branches per plant at the end of the vegetation period and with 286.37 plus or minus 1.7 leaves per plant. The leaf is 14.71 cm long and 15.24 cm wide, the fruit is round, has a 0.7 cm thick bark and the color of the green green exocarp with green ribs. In a fruit, an average of 119.14 plus or minus 0.9 seeds is found. The seed has a length of 11.10 mm, a width of 7.16 mm and a thickness of 2.45 mm. The weight of 1,000 seeds is 78 g. It is an early 64 days old planting season, resistant to diseases and pests. The fruit contains 10.56% sugar and produces 62.550 kg / ha of fruit.
