Abstract
Invenţia se referă la un procedeu de inducere, la plante, a rezistenţei la atacul nematodelor, procedeu care cuprinde următoarele etape: a) identificarea unei gene al cărei promotor este indus într-o plantă bine infectată prin contaminare cu un nematod; b) prepararea unei construcţii genetice prin combinarea regiunii promotor a genei respective cu o altă regiune care codifică un produs ce împiedică atacul nematodelor; c) transformarea plantelor cu ajutorul constucţiei genetice respective, pentru a obţine plante cu rezistenţă la nematode. Invenţia se referă şi la o genă care conferă rezistenţă la atacul nematodelor, care cuprinde o regiune promotor a unei gene induse într-o plantă prin contaminare cu un nematod şi o altă regiune care codifică un produs ce împiedică atacul nematodelor.
