Abstract
Invenţia se referă la un soi de ardei gogoşar (Capsicum annuum L.) cu denumirea de Globus, obţinut prin metoda selecţiei genealogice, cu participarea genitorilor Titan şi Vinnîi Puh, recomandat a se cultiva în toate zonele favorabile culturii ardeiului gogoşar, din ţară, în special în zonele din sud şi sud-est. Acest soi contribuie la îmbogăţirea sortimentului de ardei gogoşar, fiind destinat consumului, în stare proaspătă, şi industrializării. Este un soi cu plante viguroase, înalte de 55...65 cm, cu 3...4 ramificaţii dispuse semierect, cu frunziş bogat, de culoare verde- închis. Fructul este rotund, uşor turtit, cu suprafaţa netedă şi cu 3...4 lobi slab marcaţi. Diametrul este de 7,16 cm, înălţimea, de 3,76 cm, greutatea, de 120,6 g, cu 3...4 loje seminale şi pericarp de 9...12 cm, colorat în verde gălbui înainte de coacere şi roşu cu luciu intens, la maturitatea fiziologică. Este un soi timpuriu, productiv (47...50 t/ha), cu o încărcătură de 8...10 fructe pe plantă, din care 5...7 ajung la maturitatea fiziologică, tolerant la Verticillium dahliae, la Virusul Mozaicului Tutunului şi la Alternaria capsici annuui.
