Abstract

Weave comprises warp single or twisted threads (two thirds polyester, one third pulp fibre), and weft similar proportion polyester and cellulose fibre threads. Alternatively the warp threads are viscose filaments of 13-33 torsion ratio. Warp:weft density ratio is 1.1:1.4. Drying and hot fixing in the relaxed state with a feed time of 1-2 minutes of 180-190 deg. C, is followed by washing in water at 85-95 deg. C for 25-30 minutes.
