Abstract

The invention relates to an interconnection device enabling the electrical coupling together of two insulated cables (5, 6) to be performed without having to strip them, comprising two pairs (1, 2) of jaws equipped with sharp-edged members (3) disposed in opposition as two paired systems capable of penetrating the insulation of the cables when, with the aid of tightening means, the jaws are moved together mutually, producing an electrical contact with the core of each cable. Each pair of jaws comprises one of the said systems of sharp-edged members and the means for tightening the pairs of jaws comprise two screws (11, 12) enabling the latter to be tightened independently of each other, the mutual displacement travel of the jaws of each pair being rectilinear and bounded by a guide bar (10) for translational movement. <IMAGE>
