Abstract
The present invention relates to the process for isolating and obtaining the mutant strain of Corynebacterium glutamicum designated Corynebacterium glutamicum LNBT-312, based on the partial ("leaky") auxotrophy of this microorganism for homoserine and on its hypersensitivity to fluoroacetate and fluoropyruvate. The scope of the invention also embraces the fermentation process of said strain in aerobic conditions and in the presence of complex sources of nitrogen and carbon, with the simultaneous production of L-aspartate and L-lysine which are recovered from the fermentation vat.
