Abstract

This relates to a modular device of the kind in which the front part (12) at least of the casing (11) comprises two main parallel faces (16A, 16B). According to the invention, there is associated, local to a marking portion (20) of such a modular device belonging for example to the forward face (13) of its casing (11), a protection-marking cover (21) which is suitable for being placed laterally over this marking portion (26), by sliding parallel to the main faces (16A, 16B) of the casing (11), and which is able to define with it a housing suitable for receiving a marker.
