Abstract
A moulded plastics container can be manually opened and comprises in sequence a wide flexible body (11) to be compressed to expel the contents, a narrower more rigid nozzle (12) to be held between thumb and finger on opening, and a still narrower solid tip (16) of constant cross-section and which can be rotated and broken off with minimal danger of spillage. The tip is pref. of triangular or square cross-section with flat sides for easy gripping, or may be of circular cross-section and have longitudinal ridges. The nozzle bore may extend for a short distance into the tip. The container is e.g. of polyethylene or polypropylene and is for ophthalmic solns.
