Abstract
A device for guiding anchor ropes from an ocean floor anchor system to an offshore structure tensioner system comprises a first member positioned vertically below the tensioner and having a grooved, curved rope-contact surface and a curved sleeve. A second member is fixed on the periphery of the offshore structure and includes an outer housing having a rotatable inner housing provided with a rope contacting groove. Useful for anchoring marine drilling and prodn. structures. A taut guy rope can be deflected into a direction that is not precisely known or may vary with time as the tower may rotate without interference from structural elements of the tower and without damaging the rope.
