Abstract
The liquid applicator includes a flexible resilient inlet communicating with a container. A control membrane extending across the inlet. A slit is formed in the membrane. A rib in the inlet bears on the membrane when the inlet flexes to open the slit. A frame on the opposite side of the control membrane from the inlet portion mounts a fabric. Lugs on the membrane maintain the fabric a fixed distance therefrom to maintain the size of the chamber defined by the membrane and fabric constant.
