The connector consists of a main cylindrical body (1) which will take a pipe at one end to butt up to an internal flange (18). A sealing ring (15) with internal flexible serrations fits over the second pipe, and is located against a shoulder in the connector. An 'O' ring (14) and washer (13) also fit over the pipe further along. The washer also buts against a shoulder in the bore of the cylinder. A end cap (11) fits over the pipe, and is screwed onto the outer cylinder, so that the 'O' ring may be tightened.
