Abstract
A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO DIZ RESPEITO A MÉTODOS E SISTEMAS DE CRESCIMENTO DE FIBRAS DE TI1-XMXO2-Y, EM QUE M É UM METAL DE TRANSIÇÃO DO GRUPO 5 DA TABELA PERIÓDICA, COM 0,1<X<0,4 E 0<Y<0,2. O CRESCIMENTO É REALIZADO EM UMA ATMOSFERA REDUTORA, UTILIZANDO A TÉCNICA DE FUSÃO DE ZONA COM LASER (LFZ - LASER FLOATING ZONE) PARA OBTER FIBRAS TI1-XMXO2-Y TEXTURIZADAS E CRISTALINAS, COM PROPRIEDADES TERMOELÉTRICAS MELHORADAS. A TÉCNICA DE LFZ PERMITE A APLICAÇÃO DE VÁRIAS ATMOSFERAS REDUTORAS NUMA GAMA DE PRESSÕES RELATIVAS DE 0,1 A 1,5 X 105 PA. O SISTEMA INCLUI UMA CÂMARA DE CRESCIMENTO, SUBSISTEMA DE CONTROLE DE ATMOSFERA, FEIXE LASER CONTÍNUO E UM SISTEMA ÓTICO PARA FOCAR O FEIXE LASER. A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO É ÚTIL PARA A PRODUÇÃO DAS REFERIDAS FIBRAS À BASE DE TI1-XMXO2-Y COM ELEVADAS PROPRIEDADES TERMOELÉTRICAS, DEVIDO À COMBINAÇÃO DE UMA ATMOSFERA REDUTORA COM AS CONDIÇÕES DE CRESCIMENTO, O QUE É DE INTERESSE PRINCIPALMENTE NO CAMPO DAS APLICAÇÕES TERMOELÉTRICAS.
