Abstract

A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO DIZ RESPEITO A UM PROCESSO DE CAVITAÇÃO PARA PRODUÇÃO DE EMULSÕES DE ÁGUA COM COMBUSTÍVEIS (UTILIZÁVEIS, NOMEADAMENTE, NA ALIMENTAÇÃO DE MOTORES, TURBINAS PARA PRODUÇÃO DE ENERGIA ELÉCTRICA, CALDEIRAS) COM RECURSO A UM REACTOR DE CAVITAÇÃO. AS EMULSÕES PRODUZIDAS ATRAVÉS DA PRESENTE INVENÇÃO CARACTERIZAM-SE POR AS GOTÍCULAS DE ÁGUA NA SUA COMPOSIÇÃO TEREM UMA DISTRIBUIÇÃO UNIFORME COM UM DIÂMETRO DE 0,1 A 1 ΜM, ALCANÇADA ATRAVÉS DA ARQUITECTURA SINGULAR DO REACTOR, NO QUAL A MISTURA DE COMBUSTÍVEL E ÁGUA CHOCA COM DUAS BARREIRAS(6) DE CAVITADORES AJUSTÁVEIS(33), SEGUINDO-SE A CADA UM DOS CHOQUES UMA DIMINUIÇÃO DA PRESSÃO NAS CÂMARAS DE EXPANSÃO/DESCOMPRESSÃO(4)(5), O QUE, TUDO CONCILIADO, PROVOCA UMA DUPLA MICRONIZAÇÃO DOS COMPONENTES DA EMULSÃO, SENDO QUE TAL DISTRIBUIÇÃO UNIFORME PERMITE O ARMAZENAMENTO DAS EMULSÕES PRODUZIDAS POR LARGOS PERÍODOS, AUMENTA A EFICIÊNCIA DA SUA QUEIMA E A REDUÇÃO DAS EMISSÕES DE GASES POLUENTES EMITIDOS COM A QUEIMA.
