Devido à comum utilização de perfis para revestimento de superfícies encontram-se já descritos no estado da técnica vários tipos de perfis e sistemas para a sua fixação. Alguns exemplos de documentos que descrevem estes sistemas de fixação são referidos de seguida. A patente JP 2004218313 refere um sistema de fixação de um perfil principal a um perfil de assentamento utilizando um acessório de fixação. A principal diferença visivelmente notória face à presente invenção é a da necessidade de utilização de um sistema de fixação de forma a unir o acessório de fixação de perfis principais 1 ao perfil de assentamento.
