Przedmiotem niniejszego wynalazku jest wytwarzanie powlok metalowych na koncowych istykach pretów grzejnikowych z metalu trudnotopliwego i odpornego na utlenianie. Do tego celu proponuje sie chrom. Taka powloke chromowa mozna wykonac droga galwaniczna lub mecha¬ niczna. Szczególna zaleta chramu jest to, ze laczy on w sobie dwie pozadane wla¬ snosci, mianowicie trudna topliwosc (tem¬ peratura topliwosci prawie dwa razy wyz¬ sza niz niklu) i praktycznie zupelna od¬ pornosc na utlenianie. Te drwie wlasnosci sprawiaja, ze opór elektryczny styku nie ulega zmianom. W razie chwilowego prze¬ ciazenia nie wytwarzaja sie lez tak zwane perelki nadtapiajacego sie metalu. War¬ tosc styków jest jeszcze wieksza, jezelipowlecze sie chromem takze metalowe ob¬ sadki pretów grzejnikowych, zaciski, sru¬ by i t d. PL PLThe object of the present invention is the production of metal coatings on the end pieces of heating rods from a refractory metal resistant to oxidation. Chrome is offered for this purpose. Such a chrome coating can be made either electroplating or mechanically. The particular advantage of the chrame is that it combines two desirable properties, namely difficult fusibility (melting point almost twice as high as nickel) and virtually complete resistance to oxidation. These properties mean that the electrical resistance of the contact does not change. In the event of a temporary overload, the so-called melting metal beads are not formed.
