Plyty takie sa zaopatrzone w wkladki z cienkiego drutu, przewaznie stalowe, które sa umieszczone wpoblizu jednej i drugiej powierzchni.Nowosc wynalazku polega na tem, ze pre¬ ty wkladkowe, przed zabetonowaniem, pod¬ daje sie dwóm czynnikom, Przedewszyst- kiem napina sie je z dosc znaczna sila, co jako takie jest znane. Poza tem jednakze pociaga sie, wedlug wynalazku, prety wkladkowe srodkami chemicznemi, powiek¬ szaj acemi wytrzymalosc betonu na rozcia¬ ganie, przy równoczesnem zwiekszeniu przyczepnosci betonu wzgledem pretów.Takiemi srodkami moga byc np. preparaty znane pod nazwa „fluaty Kesslera", Tak spreparowane zelazne lub stalowe prety wkladkowe, zwlaszcza jezeli równoczesnie zostana silnie napiete, daj a po zabetonowa¬ niu plyty zelazo-betonowe o nadzwyczaj wielkiej wytrzymalosci i trwalosci. Betono¬ wanie takich plyt odbywa sie celowo przy zwiekszonem cisnieniu miedzy czasteczka¬ mi betonu, np, na maszynach poddajacych forme betonowa silnym wstrzasnieniom.Plyty wytworzone w powyzszy sposób posiadaja przy stosunkowo bardzo malej grubosci nadzwyczaj duza wytrzymalosc wobec obciazen, np, wobec obciazen jedno¬ stajnych przy plycie opartej z czterech stron na krawedziach.
