Jednorodna mieszanine przeniesiono do opakowan handlowych i poddano radiacyjnej sterylizacji.Stosowanie sposobu wedlug wynalazku daje nastepujace efekty: przedluza czas przechowywania antybio¬ tyków do 2-3 lat bez obnizania ich aktywnosci, podwyzsza wartosc uzytkowa i rynkowa antybiotyków przez zapobieganie zmianom barwy i wystepowaniu nieprzyjemnego zapachu, nie wywoluje ubocznego negatywnego dzialania u pacjenta, stosowany wedlug wynalazku dodatek do antybiotyków (kwas askorbinowy) ulega samo¬ czynnemu wydalaniu z organizmu.1 75 883 PL PLPriority: 07/24/1972 (P. 156894) Application announced: 05/30/1973 Patent description: 02/10/1975 75883 KI. 30i, 1 MKP A6111 / 00 [reading room 1 P * Mfe * Q0o 1 1 Pilskti] IttfimKfiNtfr Lrtiw) 1 L r Inventors: Jan Dziegielewski, Boguslawa Jezowska-Trzebiatowska Authorized by a temporary patent: University of Wroclaw im. Boleslawa Bieruta, Wroclaw (Poland) A method of radiation sterilization of antibiotics The subject of the invention is a method of radiation sterilization of antibiotics, especially penicillins. So far, the possibility of radiation sterilization of antibiotics is known, but the negative effects of sterilization, mainly the change of color to yellow and the appearance of an unpleasant odor, make it impossible The object of the invention is to remove this obstacle to the use of radiation sterilization of antibiotics, and the object of the invention is to prevent discoloration as well as odor in irradiated antibiotics. This objective was achieved by introducing 0.5-15% ascorbic acid into the antibiotics before performing sterilization. The main technical advantage of the invention is the removal of the basic obstacles to the radiation sterilization of antibiotics, which in turn gives serious advantages, such as achieving a high standard of quality for antibiotics and reducing their negative side effects on the patient's body as well as extending the shelf life. The technical effects entail economic benefits, such as the expansion of external sales markets, the possibility of maintaining a larger stock of drugs, a significant reduction in the amount of antibiotics liquidated as a result of expiration. The subject of the invention is illustrated by an example. Example: Procaine penicillin is mixed with ascorbic acid (mechanically in a powdered state or from solution by co-loss or adsorption) in a ratio of 98% procaine penicillin and 2% ascorbic acid. The homogeneous mixture was transferred to commercial packaging and subjected to radiation sterilization. The use of the method according to the invention gives the following effects: extends the storage time of antibiotics to 2-3 years without reducing their activity, increases the utility and market value of antibiotics by preventing color changes and unpleasant odors, does not cause any adverse effects on the patient, the additive used according to the invention for antibiotics (ascorbic acid) is self-excreted from the body.1 75 883 EN EN
