Description

Pierwszenstwo: Zgloszenie ogloszono: 30.05.1973 Opis patentowy opublikowano: 15.01.1975 75706 KI. 31a3,11/10 MKP F27d 11/10 *&* Twórcywynalazku: Eugeniusz Horoszko, Zygmunt Szendera, Józef Klepek Uprawniony z patentu tymczasowego: Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza im. Stanislawa Staszica, Kraków (Polska) Elektryczny piec redukcyjny Przedmiotem wynalazku jest elektryczny piec redukcyjny, sluzacy do topienia zelazostopów, karbidu i innych trudnotopliwych zwiazków chemicznych. 1 przedstawia wnetrze pieca z dwoma systemami triangulacyjnymi elektrod w przekroju poprzecznym, fig. 2- . wnetrze pieca z trzema systemami triangulacyjnymi elektrod w przekroju poprzecznym a fig. 3 - wnetrze pieca z czterema systemami triangulacyjnymi elektrod w przekroju poprzecznym. 1). W przypadku stosowania pieców o wiekszej konstruk¬ cji, piece 4 i 5, zawieraja trzy lub cztery systemy triangulacyjne 2.elektrod (fig. 3 i fig. 4). Kazdy system triangulacyjny jest. polaczony z oddzielnym transformatorem zasilajacym 6.2 75 706 PL PLPriority: Application announced: May 30, 1973 Patent description was published: January 15, 1975 75706 KI. 31a3,11 / 10 MKP F27d 11/10 * & * Inventors: Eugeniusz Horoszko, Zygmunt Szendera, Józef Klepek Authorized by a temporary patent: Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza im. Stanislawa Staszica, Kraków (Poland) Electric reduction furnace The subject of the invention is an electric reduction furnace used to melt ferrous alloys, carbide and other refractory chemical compounds. A well-known electric reduction furnace has inside one or two heating systems, each with three movable electrodes, suspended on ropes attached to the electrode lifting mechanism, so that the electrodes can be positioned at any vertical point in the furnace. The electrodes are powered by one or two transformers. The disadvantage of these furnaces is a significant electrical and thermal asymmetry, resulting in different powers for each of the electrodes and different conditions of heat transfer to the charge. This contributes to the occurrence of thermal stresses, which largely reduces the efficiency of the furnace. The aim of the invention is to improve the efficiency of the furnace and increase its efficiency by eliminating electrical and thermal asymmetries, especially in high-power furnaces. This goal was achieved by designing the furnace in which the electrode systems are located are in a triangulation system, with the distances between the electrodes in each of the systems being the same. The advantage of the reduction furnace, according to the invention, is the increase in electrothermal action of the electrodes and uniform temperature distribution in the furnace, which increases its efficiency The subject of the invention is illustrated in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the interior of a furnace with two electrode triangulation systems in cross-section, Fig. 2-. furnace interior with three electrode triangulation systems in cross-section and fig. 3 - furnace interior with four electrode triangulation systems in cross-section. Inside furnace 1 there are two triangulation systems 2 electrodes, consisting of three electrodes 3, located at the same distance from each other ( Fig. 1). When larger furnaces are used, furnaces 4 and 5 include three or four triangulation systems of the 2nd electrodes (FIGS. 3 and 4). Each triangulation system is. connected to a separate supply transformer 6.2 75 706 EN EN
