Profiles which enable the edge of the plate to be connected to another element are often provided with shelves extended behind the web of the shelf, wherein the end parts of the shelves behind the web are bent towards each other in a plane parallel to the web so as to form a gap between them and to form a chamber between the bent end parts of the upper and lower shelves and the web.
