Description

1 przedstawia przekrój poprzeczny wzmocnionego fundamentu, a fig. Do wykopu opuszcza sie zbrojenie, a nastepnie szczeline wypelnia sie betonem, metoda kontraktor. PL PLPriority: September 14, 1971 (P. 150491) Application announced: May 30, 1973 Patent description was published: March 20, 1974 70115 KI. 84c, 37/00 MKP E02d 37/00 Creators of the invention: Andrzej Jarominiak, Krzyszlof Grzegorzewi cz, Stanislaw Wierzbicki Authorized by the provisional patent: Central Center for Research and Development of Road Engineering, Warsaw (Poland) Method of strengthening or reconstructing foundations The subject of the invention is the method of performing the reinforcement or the reconstruction of foundations, especially bridge ones. Until now, auxiliary structures or devices separating the work site from the surrounding water have been used to strengthen or repair foundations below the groundwater level. They must enable the removal of water for dry works, and in the case of a floating object, for example supports of a bridge over a river, also protect against water current or waves. These auxiliary structures are bulkheads, and the devices are bottomless boxes, lost caissons or bells. The most commonly used are bulkheads or steel sheet pilings. After driving the wall to the required depth, the ground between the wall and the foundation is removed under the water or with a smaller inflow, with water pumping. After placing a layer of concrete under water on the bottom, and then pumping out the water, the space between the wall and the foundation is filled with concrete, bonded, for example, with steel pins to the foundation. Reinforcement using the current method requires removing the water for dry works. Therefore, there is a need to build a bulkhead or to use expensive and troublesome devices, such as caissons or bottomless boxes. In addition, during the strengthening of the foundation, it is necessary to make special relieving structures. The aim of the invention is to eliminate these inconveniences and eliminate caisson works harmful to health and reduce the labor consumption of works, as well as reduce scarce materials by eliminating steel sheet piling. The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing, Fig. 1 shows a cross-section of the reinforced foundation, and Fig. 2 - a view. The method of reinforcing or reconstructing the foundation according to the invention consists in making a slotted excavation along the contour of the foundation (1) under the cover of the silt suspension. The reinforcement is lowered into the excavation, and then the crack is filled with concrete, contractor method. Reinforced concrete walls 2 in the soil 4 are made sequentially along each side of the foundation 1 or only along two or three sides. Then the reinforced concrete wall 2 is topped with a cap 3 and connected to the foundation 1.2 70115 In the case of a structure surrounded by water, for example a bridge support on a river, the reinforcement is made without the need to build a sheet piling, bulkhead or artificial island.
