Poza tym zabawka umozliwia edukacje myslowa, pelni role koordynacji wzrokowo-ruchowej oraz wyrabia u dziecka zmysl orientacji przestrzennej, jak równiez uczy liczenia i rozrózniania kolorów. Przedmiot wzoru przemyslowego stanowi oryginalna postac gasienicy, skladajacej sie z wielu czesci, które latwo daja sie zlozyc w jedna calosc. Uksztaltowanie poszczególnych czesci wzoru umozliwia ich wytwarzanie w produkcji masowej. In addition to serving as a toy, it also allows children to pull a string and develop dexterity skills by assembling and stacking individual components to build a complete caterpillar toy. Furthermore, the toy facilitates cognitive development, plays a role in hand-eye coordination, and develops spatial orientation, as well as teaching counting and color recognition. The subject of the industrial design is an original form of a caterpillar, consisting of multiple parts that can be easily assembled into a single unit. The shape of the individual parts allows for mass production. A toy in accordance with the essential features of the industrial design in two variants is presented in drawings and photographs, of which Figure 1 shows the first variant of the design with a permanently constructed segmented body, containing all its parts in a side view when unfolded; Figure 2 shows the second variant of the design with a body consisting of three detachably connected segments, containing all its parts in a side view when unfolded; and Figure 3 shows the complete design after assembly, in both the first and second variants. Additionally, to better illustrate the essential features of the shape and color of the industrial design, the toy is presented in photographic form, which shows the complete design after assembly in both variants, containing all its parts in a side view, along with a string attached to the handle. The industrial design shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3, and the photograph is characterized by the caterpillar's cartoon-like design, consisting of a head releasably pressed into a segmented body inextricably connected to six wheels, an eyelet, and a pin, on which are placed three annular discs of different diameters. The last segment of the body, inextricably connected to the abdomen, is releasably pressed onto the upper part of the pin. A significant feature of the caterpillar's head is that it is round at the top and slightly flattened at the bottom. At its tip are two sensors, inextricably connected, slightly spaced apart, flaring outward in a cone-shaped shape, topped with a ball. Below the sensors are round, convex eyes. The round whites of the eyes have round, convex pupils. Another significant feature of the eyes is that the bottoms of the whites and the pupils are colored, while their convex part is transparent. At the bottom of the eyes, between them, is a convex, semicircular nose, which is connected to a wide mouth with protruding lips. The upper lip, concave in the very center, then convex, in a shape similar to a heart. On the left side, a tongue curls over it. The lower lip has an open V shape, also concave in the center. The lip is bordered by convex, elongated cheeks. Another significant feature of the caterpillar head is that it has a cylindrical protrusion protruding from the bottom, which widens slightly at the bottom and then narrows semicircularly, designed to fit into the circular opening of the caterpillar body. Another significant feature of the caterpillar head is that it is formed as a single monolith, in a single color, contrasting with the other colorful parts of the toy. A significant feature of the caterpillar body in the first version is that it consists of three durable, circular segments, tapering conically upwards, and each of them has a semicircular protrusion at the top in the center. These segments are arc-shaped relative to the base. A significant feature of the caterpillar body in the second version is that it consists of three detachably connected circular segments, tapering conically upwards. A characteristic feature of the industrial design is that each part of the toy is formed from a colorful thermoplastic material, with the color of the individual parts being freely selectable, and one version of the color combination is shown in the photograph. The subject of the industrial design is an original form of a children's toy that can be placed on any horizontal, flat surface, and pulled on any surface, except sloping ones.
