B 63 b Centralne Biuro Konstrukcji Okretowych Nr P) Gdansk, Polska Statek do przewozu luzem ladunków masowych Patent trwa od dnia 25 wrzesnia 1962 r.Wynalazek dotyczy statku z poprzecznymi przedzialami samowyladowujacymi, przeznaczo¬ nego do przewozu luzem ladunków masowych o róznym ciezarze gatunkowym.Znane sa statki, zapewniajace wlasciwe po¬ lozenie srodka ciezkosci ladunku dzieki zasto¬ sowaniu w górnej czesci ladowni dodatkowych przedzialów, przeznaczonych do przewozu ladun¬ ku badz balastu. Jerzy Piskorz-Nalecki.Celem wynalazku jest opracowanie projektu statku do przewozu luzem ladunków masowych, który nadawalby sie do przewozu towarów o róznych ciezarach wlasciwych, byl latwy do wyladunku oraz posiadal kadlub o duzej wy¬ trzymalosci wzdluznej i poprzecznej.Zadanie to zostalo rozwiazane wedlug wyna¬ lazku dzieki zastosowaniu dodatkowych samo- wyladowujacych sie przedzialów, ustawionych w poprzek statku. Zastosowanie takich prze¬ dzialów pozwala na podniesienie srodka ciez¬ kosci ladunku przez umieszczenie jego czesci wysoko nad dnem ladowni, podobnie jak w do¬ tychczas stosowanych konstrukcjach statków te¬ go typu, eliminujac jednakze koniecznosc uciaz¬ liwego rozladunku tych przedzialów. Na rysun¬ ku, uwidaczniajacym schematycznie przyklad wykonania statku wedlug wynalazku, fig. 1 przedstawia przekrój wzdluzny statku, fig. 2 — widok pokladu statku z góry, fig. 3 — widokpokladu odmiany statku z podwójnym rzedem luków, fig. 4 — przebieg zaladunku jednej la¬ downi, fig. £ — przekrój wzdluzny odmiany la¬ downi z jednym otworem lukowym, fig. 6 — przebieg wyladunku jednej z ladowni, a fig.. 7 — przekrój wzdluzny dalszej odmiany ladowni. 4), a nastepnie wypelnia przedzial 6 do pokladu 1. B 63 b Centralne Biuro Konstrukcji Okretowych No. P) Gdansk, Poland Vessel for the transportation of bulk cargoes The patent has been in force since September 25, 1962 The invention concerns a vessel with transverse self-discharging compartments, intended for the transportation of bulk cargoes of various types in bulk. There are ships that ensure the correct position of the center of gravity of the cargo thanks to the use of additional compartments in the upper part of the cargo area for the transport of cargo or ballast. Loading of these compartments requires the existence of special openings in the ship's deck, usually located at the sides, which significantly reduces the longitudinal strength of the ship. The unloading of such rooms is also very burdensome due to their small size and difficult access. °) The owner of the patent stated that the inventor is Jerzy Piskorz-Nalecki, MSc. The purpose of the invention is to develop a design of a ship for the transport of bulk cargoes which would be suitable for the transport of goods with different specific weights, was easy to unload and had a hull with high longitudinal and transverse strength. This task was solved according to the invention thanks to the use of additional self-unloading compartments arranged across the vessel . The use of such compartments allows to raise the center of gravity of the cargo by placing its parts high above the bottom of the hatch, similar to the hitherto used constructions of ships of this type, but eliminating the need for cumbersome unloading of these compartments. In the drawing, which schematically shows an embodiment of a ship according to the invention, Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section of the ship, Fig. 2 - top view of the ship's deck, Fig. 3 - a view of a type of ship with a double row of hatches, Fig. 4 - the course of loading one Fig. L - longitudinal section of a variant of a landing bay with one hatch opening, Fig. 6 - the course of unloading one of the landing pads, and Fig. 7 - longitudinal section of a further variant of the landing pad. The self-loading compartments 6 fit on one or at both ends of the cargo hold in special niches, made in transverse watertight bulkheads 3 and 9, these niches are separated from the cargo hold 4, into which the cargo is falling, by additional bulkheads 11, extending from deck 1 to a certain height above with a double bottom 2 over the width of the hatch opening 8 of the holds 4, or the entire breadth of the vessel. The walls 10 of the niche and its bottom 10 'are part of the watertight bulkhead 3, separating holds 4, or the bulkhead 9, between the hold 4 from the deep reservoirs 5. In order to facilitate the natural discharge of the cargo into the landing dock, the bottom 10 is inclined towards the center of the hold 4 at an angle greater than the natural tipping angle of the cargo. If the compartments 6 do not extend over the full breadth of the ship, they are bounded at the sides by longitudinal bulkheads parallel to the sides of the ship. The load poured into the compartment 6 first slides down to the bottom 2 of the proper landing bay, partially overfills the compartment (Fig. 4), and then fills the compartment 6 to deck 1. It is also possible to use section 6 with a chute to two cargo holds simultaneously, by enclosing any cargo hatch 8 with a special shaft made of longitudinal and transverse bulkheads, extending from the deck to a certain height above the double bottom. Then the compartment 6 will not have a bottom 10 'and no bulkhead 3 will be needed to separate the cargo holds, since both cargo holds 4 will then be considered as one watertight compartment of the ship. Separate cargo hatches 7 with lids 17 lead to the compartments 6, which are only opened for the loading of the ore (Figs. 2 and 4). On unloading, they can remain closed as the cargo is extracted through hatches 8 leading to the holders and closed with lids 18 (Fig. 2 18). Of course, it is also possible to make structures with a common hatch 8 for the landing bay 4 and additional compartments 6 (Figs. 3 and 5). With such a construction, for easier loading of the compartments 6, the upper part of the additional bulkhead 11, located in the hatch opening 8, can be made in the form of a folding class IV, which allows a wider opening to facilitate loading, or to cover the compartment 6. Use of a common hatch 8 for the proper hold 4 and compartment 6 allow for a more economical use of the deck area, as well as a more economical construction of hatch covers and refurbishments, than is the case with a solution with separate hatch openings. appropriate distances between the bulkheads 9 of the deep reservoir 5, it is possible to classify these bulkheads as transverse watertight bulkheads required for a given ship by the Classification Society. This allows the number of cargo holds to be reduced while maintaining the number of transverse watertight bulkheads required by the Classification Society, which can often be advantageous. Taking into account the existence of deep tanks on the ship, maintaining the required number of bulkheads means saving on bulkheads, as additional watertight bulkheads of soil tanks are avoided. On the other hand, the incorporation of the compartments 6 in the tanks 5 allows the partial use of the volume of these tanks for the cargo carried in the main holdings 4. For example, on a ship according to the invention with a length of more than 165 m (Fig. 1), there are eight bulkheads allows the use of only four holdings instead of six, while the use of six holdings and two deep reservoirs for a conventional solution would require ten transverse watertight bulkheads by law. it prevents the installation of additional transverse watertight bulkheads without compromising the proposed system of construction. It is also possible to use the cargo hold structure (Fig. 7), consisting in bringing the compartments 6 closer to each other and possibly removing them from additional transverse bulkheads 11. As a result, transverse bulkheads 10, 10 ', 9 separating the liners from neighboring, or from the soil reservoirs, are in their upper part flared away from the center of the landing room, which causes an advantageous upward shift in the center of the load.
