Przedmiotem wynalazku jest warstwa fotoniczna o strukturze zol-żel zawierającą matrycę domieszkowaną nanocząstkami fosforanów lantanowców oraz sposób otrzymywania warstwy fotonicznej o strukturze zol-żel domieszkowanego nanocząstkami fosforanów lantanowca, charakteryzujący się tym, że obejmuje etap w którym hydrolizuje się alkoksysilan i kondensacji silanol lub alkoksysilan, wytwarzania się nanofosforany lantanowca in situ i wytwarza się trwałą warstwę fotoniczną.
