Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest wirnik promieniowy pompy wirowej o zmniejszonych oporach tarcia tarcz wirujących, składający się z piasty (1), połączonej lub wykonanej jako jedna całość z tarczą tylną (3), na której osadzone są łopatki główne (4) tworzące kanały międzyłopatkowe otwarte lub zamknięte tarczą przednią (2), charakteryzujący się tym, że na zewnętrznej powierzchni tarczy tylnej (3) i na zewnętrznej powierzchni tarczy przedniej (2) wykonane są wgłębienia (5).
