Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest 4-[(2chlorofenylo)sulfanylo]-2-[(2-metoksyfenylo)etenylo]pirydo[2,3-d]pirymidyna oraz jej zastosowanie jako barwnika fluorescencyjnego do barwienia biologicznych struktur komórkowych, korzystnie do barwienia błoniastych struktur komórkowych, najkorzystniej do barwienia błoniastych struktur komórkowych nowotworów nabłonkowych płuc lub błoniastych struktur komórkowych nowotworów mózgu.
