Sekator zbudowany jest ze stalnicy (1), w której zamocowany jest na śrubie M-8 obrotowy nóż tnący wraz z ramieniem (2). Stalnica jest zespawana na stałe w rurce (3). Do tej rurki wciśnięty jest drążek drewniany (4) stanowiący rękojeść sekatora. Do drążka przymocowana jest podpora (5) dźwigni (6) za pomocą śrub. Do podporu przyspawany jest trzpień (7) jako oś dla dźwigni uruchomiając nóż tnący ramię (2) połączone jest z dźwignią (6) za pomocą cięgna z drutu.
