Abstract
The subject of the application is a process for the production of poly (aspartic acid) derivatives, characterized in that thermal polycondensation of aspartic acid is carried out in an atmosphere of inert gas for 4-5 hours under an atmosphere of inert gas, whereby aspartic acid is introduced into the space heated to the temperature of 250 - 260 ° C, the obtained PSI is subjected to hydrolysis with the insufficient amount of the alkaline hydrolyzing agent in relation to the number of carboxyl groups, using the empirically calculated formula: Whyd = (Lzm / Lalk) • n [g / gPSI], where Whyd - the amount of the factor hydrolyzing agent needed for neutralization 1 g PSI, Lzm - saponification number determined for PSI defined as the amount of mg KOH needed to fully react 1 g PSI, Lalk - the alkaline number of the hydrolyzing agent defined as the amount of mg KOH per 1 g of the hydrolyzing agent, n - empirically determined coefficient a correction value from 07 to 0.98, so as to obtain an aqueous solution of the salt of poly (k aspartic acid) with a minimum concentration of 40% by weight with a pH = 6-7, the obtained poly (aspartic acid) salt solution is adjusted to pH = 7-8, then Zn II is introduced in the form of an aqueous solution of inorganic salt in the amount of 0 10-0.20 g of Zn, based on 1 g of dry weight of poly (aspartic acid) alkali salt, the whole is stirred at room temperature until the insoluble Zn II salt of the poly (aspartic acid) precipitates.
