Ołówek automatyczny z gumką, składający się z zespołu uzupełniania grafitu, gdzie grafit jest osadzony w przesuwce (7), która pełni rolę nakrętki i współpracuje ze śrubą mającą kształt sprężyny spiralnej walcowej (6) i jej ruch obrotowy wywołuje przesuwanie grafitu (5), oraz mechanizmu przełączania (wysuwania i cofania) grafitu stosowanego powszechnie w długopisach, charakteryzuje się tym że: gumka (1) osadzona jest na dolnym końcu ołówka za pomocą kanału, nasuniętego na rurkę, przez którą wysuwa i cofa się grafit łącznie z mechanizmem przełączania, a sama gumka (w celu uzupełnienia zużycia) jest zsuwana za pomocą nakrętki (2).
