W wyniku działania preparatu enzymatycznego o aktywności AcmB pochodzącym ze szczepu bakterii Sterolibacterium denitrificans Chol-1S DSM: 13999, następuje regioselektywna dehydrogenacja między pierwszym i drugim atomem węgla cząstki substratu. Uzyskany w ten sposób produkt oczyszcza się metodą SPE z zastosowaniem polimerowych kolumienek chromatograficznych Strata-X, znanym sposobem, stosując izopropanol jako eluent.A method of producing 17'-methylandrost-1,4-dien-3-on-17-ol of formula 2 is disclosed. As a result of the action of the enzyme preparation with AcmB activity derived from the bacterial strain Sterolibacterium denitrificans Chol-1S DSM: 13999, regioselective dehydrogenation occurs the first and second carbon atoms of the substrate particles. The product thus obtained is purified by SPE using Strata-X polymer chromatographic columns using isopropanol as eluent in a known manner.
