Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób oraz urządzenie do prowadzenia procesu toryfikacji biomasy w wysokiej temperaturze w sposób autotermiczny. Sposób autotermicznej toryfikacji biomasy polega na tym, że toryfikacji poddawana jest biomasa o zawartości wilgoci poniżej 25%, a proces prowadzony jest przy zastosowaniu gorących gazów stanowiących mieszaninę spalin ze spalania biomasy oraz dopalonego torgazu, przy czym zawartość tlenu w gorących gazach nie przekracza 2%, a ich temperatura jest wyższa niż 500°C, przy zachowaniu czasu przebywania cząstki biomasy w strefie toryfikacji poniżej 10 min, przy czym temperatura torgazu na dolocie do generatora gorących gazów spalinowych (3) powinna być wyższa niż 100°C.The subject of the notification is a method and a device for conducting the process of biomass torrefying at high temperature in an autothermal way. The method of autothermal torrefying of biomass consists in torrefying biomass with a moisture content below 25%, and the process is carried out using hot gases constituting a mixture of flue gases from biomass combustion and afterburnt torgas, while the oxygen content in hot gases does not exceed 2%, and their temperature is higher than 500 ° C, while maintaining the biomass particle residence time in the torrefying zone below 10 min, while the torgaz temperature at the inlet to the hot flue gas generator (3) should be higher than 100 ° C.
