Abstract

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób wyznaczania wartości dystorsji i/lub korekcji dystorsji obrazu projekcji otrzymywanego w procesie tomografii komputerowej, znajdujący zastosowanie zwłaszcza w sterowaniu procesem skanowania. Sposób charakteryzuje się tym, że w pierwszym etapie podczas skanowania obiektu, na podstawie obrazów projekcji wyznacza się wartość dystorsji obrazu i/lub jej ewentualną zmianę występującą na poszczególnych obrazach projekcji, wynikającą ze zmiany geometrii promieniowania rentgenowskiego padającego na detektor (1), poprzez ustalenie punktu środkowego, to jest punktu detektora najbardziej oświetlonego przez źródło promieniowania rentgenowskiego i/lub poprzez ustalenie odchylenia wartości parametrów obrazu kalibracyjnego i obrazu projekcji i/lub poprzez porównywanie obrazów projekcji, w tym porównanie obrazów projekcji z obrazem kalibracyjnym. Natomiast w drugim etapie opcjonalnie koryguje się dystorsję obrazu projekcji lub w przypadku gdy wartość dystorsji przekroczy wartość dopuszczalną w trakcie skanowania, automatycznie przerywa się proces skanowania, przy czym etap korekcji dystorsji obrazu projekcji przeprowadza się z wykorzystaniem wyznaczonej w pierwszym etapie wartości dystorsji obrazu i/lub jej zmiany, lub z pominięciem etapu pierwszego.
