Abstract

Przedmiotem wynalazku sa -oligomer RNA, sposób regulowania procesu powstawania miRNA oraz zastosowanie oligomerów RNA, jako regulatorów procesu powstawania miRNA. Bardziej szczególowo, rozwiazanie dotyczy zastosowania oligomerów RNA zaburzajacych strukture pre-miRNA, jako regulatorów procesu powstawania miRNA. Oddzialywania oligomeru z prekursorem miRNA (pre-miRNA) zmieniaja strukture drugo- i trzeciorzedowa prekursora. W rezultacie, pre-miRNA nie jest specyficznie rozpoznawany i ciety przez rybonukleaze Dicer i w konsekwencji nie dochodzi do powstawania okreslonego miRNA.The subject of the invention is RNA oligomer, a method of regulating miRNA formation and the use of RNA oligomers as regulators of miRNA formation. More specifically, the solution relates to the use of RNA oligomers disrupting the pre-miRNA structure as regulators of the miRNA formation process. Interactions of the oligomer with the miRNA precursor (pre-miRNA) change the precursor secondary and tertiary structure. As a result, pre-miRNA is not specifically recognized and cleaved by Dicer ribonuclease, and consequently no specific miRNA is produced.
