Sposób dwuetapowego wytwarzania makromonomerów poli(-3-hydroksyalkanianowych) posiadajacych ?-aldehydowe-?-karboksylowe, ?,?-karboksylowe lub ?-hydroksylowe-?-karboksylowe grupy funkcyjne polega na ozonolizie poli(-3-hydroksyalkanianu) posiadajacego ugrupowanie koncowe zawierajace podwójne wiazanie, w rozpuszczalniku organicznym lub mieszaninie rozpuszczalników organicznych, a otrzymany ozonek poli(-3-hydroksyalkanianu) rozklada sie w srodowisku utleniajacym lub redukujacym do odpowiednich produktów na drodze znanej reakcji redukcji lub utleniania.
