Abstract

A device used for cutting packages of product units, for example blister packs (120), comprises support means (52, 54) for packages having at least one edge portion (130), and cutting means (13) particularly suitable for cutting the packages in use. The device also comprises feed means (24) for feeding the packages towards the cutting means (14). The cutting means (14) are mounted, separated by the support means (52, 54), in a position such as to perform a cutting operation on the packages which starts on the edge portion (130) of each package.
