An element of a sanitary tap, in the form of a regulating knob for a sanitary tap, especially one mounted to a wall, in accordance with an industrial design, is characterized in that it has a flat, round base for mounting to the wall, with a gently rounded front edge, from the center of which protrudes a much narrower, cylindrical short shaft extending from it in a small arc, which ends with a cylindrical knob proper, slightly tapered towards the front, with a larger diameter but smaller than the diameter of the base, and whose cylindrical surface is on one side flatly cut parallel to the axis, and on the surface of this cut on the base side there is a round hole, and on the opposite side, from the cylindrical surface of the knob protrudes perpendicularly to it and perpendicularly to the flatly cut surface, vertically downwards, located near the flat front surface of the knob, cylindrical rod. The rear surface of the base has a narrow annular peripheral edge, as shown in the attached drawing and photographs, Fig. 13.1 to Fig. 1.6.
