Description

The subject of the industrial design is a discount card, shaped like a traditional ATM card and intended for documenting purchases made through discount systems in chain stores or large supermarkets. Credit cards and various loyalty discount cards are widely known, and are characterized by their unique colors and design. The essence of the design is a new form, aimed at aesthetic purposes, manifested in the design, colors, line layout, and ornamentation. The subject of the design is shown in the attached illustrations, in which Figs. 1 and 2 show the front and back sides of the discount card, while Figs. 3-10 show the front and back sides of individual color variations of the discount card. The discount card, in the form of a cuboid with rounded corners and similar in size to a typical credit card, is characterized by a design on the front with an uneven background with diagonally placed lighter shades and filled with overlapping four-pointed stars of varying sizes, with the centers of the stars having an intense color that lightens toward the points. Thin white lines are arranged across the design, forming the outlines of large letters. Black lettering is placed along the top edge and near the bottom corners, while a rectangle with dark lines is located near the left edge. The back is solid, with a white rectangle with a barcode in the center and a wide black horizontal band at the bottom. One version of the card is blue on both sides, with the background discolorations and the star arms being lighter on the front. Another version is gray-silver on both sides, with the background discolorations and the star arms being lighter on the front. Another version is gold on both sides, with the background discolorations and the star arms being lighter on the front. The final version is platinum gray on both sides, with the background discolorations and the star arms being lighter on the front. Furthermore, a thin white line runs from the upper right corner to the lower left corner, with the inscriptions arranged in the area below this line, with one inscription in two lines near the center, and the remaining lines near the bottom edge. The black stripe on the back of the discount card is magnetic, allowing the purchase amount and time to be recorded during the checkout process.
