In order to reduce the thermal loading of the heat exchangers surrounding the combustion chamber, the combustion chamber is according to the invention accommodated inside a double-walled pipe (4, 5), the outer wall (5) of which is formed at the bottom by a plate-shaped heat exchanger (6), from which the water passes between the two walls of the pipe via many holes (14). <IMAGE>
