The essence of the design is a new form of the object, manifested in the shape and decorative arrangement of holes forming the openwork surfaces of the cover. The subject of the ornamental design is shown in the attached drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the cover from above, and Fig. 2 - the cover from above. The drain grate cover, according to the ornamental design, constitutes a uniform element with openwork front surfaces transitioning by gentle arcs to the side surfaces. In a top view, the drain grate has a quadrangular shape with rounded corners. The azure on the front surface of the cover consists of four sets of shaped holes located in the fields of triangles formed by the intersection of the diagonals of a quadrilateral. Each shaped hole has an outline formed by an elongated rectangle and semicircular sections congruent to the shorter sides of the rectangle. Each set contains three shaped holes of different lengths, arranged from shortest to longest. The shaped holes in each set are parallel to each other and obliquely relative to the lateral surface, while the holes in one set are situated perpendicular to the shaped holes in the adjacent set. In each set, the semicircular portions of the shaped holes located on the side surface are aligned parallel to the side surface, and the semicircular portions of the shaped holes located on the diagonal side are aligned parallel to the diagonal. The front surface transitions into the side surface with gentle curves. The drain cover can be made of thin sheet metal.
