Description
Opis wynalazkuDescription of the invention
The present invention relates to a method for producing an agglomerate from tanning shavings.
Możliwe kierunki przetwarzania, utylizacji oraz recyklingu odpadów garbarskich to produkcja skóry wtórnej, materiałów włóknistych, hydrolizatów białkowych, kompostowanie, rolnictwo (nawozy), obróbka termiczna i składowanie. There are known methods of processing waste tanning shavings in order to reuse them, reduce their environmental nuisance and change their physical properties as a result of the technology used. The total organic matter content in the dry matter of the tanning shavings is 85-90%, and the solid residue after combustion is 7.8-8%. Tanning shavings are a waste product from the tanning industry, created after the proper tanning process, resistant to biological degradation. Possible directions for processing, disposal and recycling of tannery waste are the production of leather, fibrous materials, protein hydrolysates, composting, agriculture (fertilizers), thermal treatment and storage.
Skórę wtórną stosuje się w produkcji elementów obuwia (podpodeszwy, zakładki), do wytwarzania wyrobów kaletniczych, jako materiał tapicerski i w introligatorstwie (oprawy książek).Leather shavings are used in the production of composition leather. The production of secondary leather is based on the proper fragmentation of collagen fibers contained in the shavings, the selection of an appropriate binder (synthetic resins, styrene-butadiene latexes, acrylic latexes) in relation to the type and amount of the fibrous raw material and on the appropriate oiling technique in the pulp. Secondary leather is used in the production of footwear elements (insoles, overlaps), for the production of leather goods, as an upholstery material and in bookbinding (book bindings).
Patent No. 150021 also describes a method of producing a complete fertilizer from tannery sludge and waste, consisting in obtaining a partially granulated fertilizer, complete from tannery sludge and waste, without harmful admixtures from disinfectants and heavy metals introduced in the production process, especially chromium, having reaction varied depending on the needs. This fertilizer contains 40-50% by volume in the form of sewage sludge and tannery waste, no more than 10% of coal ash, nitrogen, lime and a potassium component. In the production method, the ingredients are mixed in a mixer until the granulate is suitable for sowing.
Rozwiązaniem tych problemów byłoby nadanie strużynom regularnych, sferycznych kształtów i utworzenie w ten sposób sypkiego złoża. Efekt ten można uzyskać podczas bezciśnieniowej aglomeracji talerzowej.Strings are characterized by many unfavorable physical properties, including very low bulk density. They take up a large volume, which makes them difficult to store and transport. They have irregular, flocculent shapes, which causes them to clump into larger fragments and makes it difficult to pour out of containers as well as possible dosing and loading. The solution to these problems would be to give the streams regular, spherical shapes and thus create a free-flowing bed. This effect can be obtained during non-pressure disc agglomeration.
Po zakończeniu nawilżania prowadzi się dalszą aglomerację podczas obrotów talerza przez czas 3-12 minut, po czym transportuje się uzyskane aglomeraty do suszenia w temperaturze 50-65°C.The method of agglomerating tannery shavings by granulation in a disc batch granulator, using an aqueous solution of water glass to moisten it during granulation and using chalk flour, according to the invention, is characterized in that sieved, waste shavings made of chrome and chrome-free tanning processes with a moisture content of 50-65% and grain size up to 10 mm and chalk flour with a moisture content of 1-5% and grain size up to 0.5 mm. First, the shavings are introduced into the granulator in such an amount that the ratio of the volume of the inserted strings to the volume of the granulator plate is 0.15-0.3. The chalk flour is then added in an amount such that the ratio of the weight of the chalk flour to the weight of the strings is 1-3. Both components are mixed at the rotational speed of the granulator plate of 10-25 rpm for 2-8 minutes, and then for 5-20 minutes the streams are granulated with the simultaneous spraying of the granulated bed with a 20-90% aqueous solution of water glass at a temperature of 10- 30 ° C, introduced in the form of droplets with a diameter of 0.01-5 mm or in the form of a stream at a pressure of 10-40 kPa in the amount of 500-1500 g per 1000 g of bed. The outlet diameter of the sprinkler is from 1 to 1.5 mm. After completion of the humidification, further agglomeration is carried out during the rotation of the plate for 3-12 minutes, after which the obtained agglomerates are transported for drying at a temperature of 50-65 ° C.
Sposób według wynalazku umożliwia przetworzenie i zmianę właściwości fizycznych produktu odpadowego - strużyn z chromowych i bezchromowych procesów garbarskich, często składowanego dotychczas na terenie zakładu garbarskiego i przekazywanego do utylizacji. Sposobem według wynalazku otrzymuje się sypkie zaglomerowane złoże ziarniste zawierające zarówno składniki mineralne jak i organiczne, które łatwo magazynować, transportować i dozować. Nawilżanie złoża roztworem szkła wodnego zapewnia uzyskanie aglomeratów o dużej wytrzymałości mechanicznej. Wprowadzanie do talerza suchej mączki kredowej ułatwia aglomerację drobnoziarnistych frakcji strużyn, co wraz z procesem suszenia zapewnia uzyskanie granul suchych na powierzchniThe method according to the invention makes it possible to process and change the physical properties of the waste product - shavings from chrome and chrome-free tanning processes, often stored up to now on the premises of a tanning plant and sent for disposal. The method according to the invention provides a free-flowing agglomerated granular bed containing both mineral and organic components, which is easy to store, transport and dose. Moistening the bed with a water glass solution provides agglomerates with high mechanical strength. Adding dry chalk flour to the plate facilitates the agglomeration of fine-grained fractions of shavings, which, together with the drying process, ensures obtaining dry granules on the surface
It is a non-caking bed with a flowability that allows for free transport of agglomerates for subsequent technological operations. Attachment of dry chalk flour to granules lowers the moisture of the granules so obtained, which also reduces the costs of drying it. The agglomerates obtained by the process according to the invention can be used, instead of the loose, moist, dusty shavings used so far, in the production of composites based on collagen fibers.
