Description
W czasie miedzy doda¬ waniem srodka bielacego i dalsza obróbka bielonej miazgi drzewnej musi ona lezec 24 — 48 godzin, gdyz bielenie postepuje bardzo powoli. Obecnie zamiast dwusiar- czynu sodowego lub wapniowego uzywa sie podsiarczynu sodowego lub cynkowego.Bielenie opisanemi srodkami odbywa sie o wiele szybciej i trwa zaledwie kilka minut. Podsiarczyn mozna wytwarzacW obecnosci miazgi drzewnej np. przcz re¬ akcje miedzy dwusiarczynem sodowym i pylem cynkowym lub miedzy dwusiarczy¬ nem sodowym, kwasem siarkawym i pylem cynkowym. Mozna zastosowac równiez i inne znane metody.Wytwarza j ac podsiarczyn zapomoca pylu cynkowego i dwutlenku siarkowego, zadaje sie wodny rozczyn miazgi drzewnej pylem cynkowym, dodajac nastepnie odpo¬ wiednia ilosc gazowego dwutlenku siarko¬ wego, £ilbo tez rozczyn zadaje sie jedno¬ czesnie pylem cynkowym i gazowym dwu¬ tlenkiem siarkowym. PLIt is known to bleach wood pulp with sulfur compounds for many years. For this purpose, solutions of sodium or calcium disulphite are used. Bleaching with the aforementioned means has the disadvantage that the treatment must be interrupted, i.e. it is not continuous. In the time between the addition of the bleaching agent and the subsequent treatment of the bleached wood pulp, it must lie for 24 to 48 hours, as bleaching is very slow. Currently, sodium or zinc bisulphite is used instead of sodium or calcium bisulphite. Bleaching with these agents is much faster and takes only a few minutes, but they have the disadvantage that they decompose easily, so they are formed during transport and storage. losses. Moreover, these products are very expensive. The wood pulp can be whitewashed with the advantage of subsulphite if the diarrhea is produced from constituents that can produce sulfite in the presence of wood pulp. At the time of its formation (in statu nascendi), the hyposulphite acts on the wood pulp very strongly and evenly. Losses are also avoided, as sub-sulfite is only produced during bleaching. Sub-sulfite can be produced during bleaching, e.g. in an aqueous solution of wood pulp, by the action of sulfur dioxide on zinc dust. Other methods of producing the desulfite may also be used. Dissulfite can be produced in the presence of wood pulp, for example, by reactions between sodium bisulfite and zinc dust or between sodium disulfite, sulfuric acid and zinc dust. Other known methods can also be used. In order to produce dithionite by means of zinc dust and sulfur dioxide, the aqueous dilution of the wood pulp with zinc dust is added, then the appropriate amount of sulfur dioxide gas is added, or the solution is simultaneously treated with dust. zinc and gaseous sulfur dioxide. The described treatment of the wood pulp with ingredients that produce dibsulfite can be carried out in a continuous or intermittent manner. When carrying out this method of treatment, it is indifferent whether the wood pulp whitens separately or mixed with other fibrous materials. Thanks to the method according to the invention, it is possible not to import ready-made hyposulfites, produced only in chemical factories, not paper factories. The starting components used in this process, for example zinc dust and sulfur dioxide gas, are stable and cheap. The production of dithionite in the presence of wood pulp and dilution can be effected everywhere and presents no difficulties. PL
