Abstract

The over-voltage diverter has a discharger (1) and an electric element connected in series. The electric element has a component (2) with two electrodes (3,4). A pellet (5) made of electro conductive material is arranged between the electrodes. The pellet connects the electrodes with each other in electro conductive manner. The area holding the pellet is encircled by a temperature-resistant insulating material enclosure (6).
