Description
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób wytwarzania wypełniacza mineralno-szklanego z odpadów poszlifierskich hut szkła. Wypełniacze wytwarzane sposobem według wynalazku mogą być stosowane do lakierów, farb, gumy i tworzyw sztucznych. The subject of the invention is a method for the production of a glass-mineral filler from post-grinding waste of glassworks. The fillers produced by the method of the invention can be used for varnishes, paints, rubber and plastics.
There are known granular mineral fillers, the share of which in the material is from several to several dozen percent, such as: chalk, kaolin, talc, mica, chalcedonite, barite, aluminum hydroxide, dolomite, carbon black, graphite, metallic powders, silica, quartz and balls and glass flakes. These fillers increase the mass and volume of the composition and reduce its price. Fillers can increase the density of the composition, reduce processing shrinkage, modify other properties such as thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, and improve chemical resistance and abrasion resistance.
Proces alkoholizy prowadzi się w temperaturzeThere is known from the Polish patent description PL 193676 a method of producing fillers, which consists in the fact that the fillers are produced in the process of alcoholysis of poly (ethylene terephthalate), preferably derived from waste bottles, foil and fibers. The alcoholysis process is carried out at temperature
Z otrzymanej żywicy tereftalowej, po zmieleniu jej, uzyskuje się wypełniacze, które posiadają odpowiednie właściwości dla zastosowania ich w wyrobach lakierowych wodorozcieńczalnych i rozpuszczalnikowych i w innych tego typu kompozycjach.160-260 ° C bifunctional alcohols with linear structure without side substituents or with cyclic structure and / or monofunctional alcohols with linear structure without side substituents or with cyclic structure, also without additional substituents. The obtained terephthalic resin, after grinding it, is used to obtain fillers that have appropriate properties for their use in water-based and solvent-borne varnishes and in other compositions of this type.
Also known from the Polish patent specification PL 193980 is a method of producing a glass-type filler for plastics and resins, consisting in first grinding the glass material into segments, then mixing these segments with an adhesive set containing a chemical compound from the silane group, and then drying a mixture of the segments of glass material and the gluing assembly is formed to form compact granules with an average maximum size ranging from 20 to 60 micrometers each containing a plurality of segments and parts of the dried gluing assembly.
The aim of the invention was to develop a method for the production of a glass-mineral filler with high hardness and resistance to aggressive chemical agents from the waste generated during grinding glass with silicon carbide.
Istotą sposobu według wynalazku jest to, że do odpadu mineralno-szklanego o uziarnieniu od 0,1 do 15 pm i uwodnieniu 50%, zawierającego węglik krzemu, szkło i substancję organiczną w postaci kopolimeru akrylamidu dodaje się kwas siarkowy, a potem miesza się aż do uzyskania roztworu o wartości pH od 3 do 4, po czym do roztworu dodaje się laminarnie mieszając utleniacza w postaciThe essence of the process according to the invention is that sulfuric acid is added to the glass-and-glass waste with a grain size of 0.1 to 15 µm and 50% hydration, containing silicon carbide, glass and organic substance in the form of acrylamide copolymer, sulfuric acid is added, and then it is mixed until to obtain a solution with a pH value of 3 to 4, then to the solution is added laminarically while stirring the oxidant in the form
30% nadtlenku wodoru w ilości od 20 do 50 cm3 na 1 dm3 uzyskanej mieszaniny, następnie mieszaninę odstawia się na 2 do 4 godzin, a następnie przemywa się ją wodą aż do uzyskania pH 5 do 6, po czym mieszaninę filtruje się i suszy.30% hydrogen peroxide in the amount of 20 to 50 cm 3 per 1 dm 3 of the resulting mixture, then the mixture is left to stand for 2 to 4 hours, and then it is washed with water until the pH is 5 to 6, then the mixture is filtered and dried .
The method according to the invention makes it possible to obtain a glass-mineral filler in the form of a powder with excellent fragmentation, characterized by very good wettability in lacquer binders and having a relatively high refractive index of n = 2.5, which gives it hiding properties. The varnish products containing the glass-mineral filler obtained by the method according to the invention show resistance to abrasion, chemicals, exhaust gases and temperature, as well as high chemical resistance to an aggressive environment.
Moreover, the advantage of the developed method is the use of silicon carbide and glass grains with a grain size of 0.1-15 µm, produced in the glass grinding process, which until now constituted useless production waste.
