Abstract
The invention relates to a method and a device (1) for stabilising the edges of a strip (2), said device comprising at least one sensor (6) for identifying the position of the at least one strip edge (3, 4) and at least one adjusting device (7) by which means at least one element (8) for stabilising strip edges can be positioned according to the identified position of the at least one strip edge (3, 4).
