Abstract

The apparatus for the manufacture of geocells from double-side textured thermoplastic strips which are connected using ultrasonic welds incorporates a stationary support structure with two oppositely placed rows of anvils and a carrying beam mounted over the support structure, aligned axially to it, holding presses equipped with welders. The apparatus has got a switchboard cabinet, PLC automation system and compressed air and energy supply systems. It is characteristic for the apparatus described hereinabove that the oscillators have been moved away beyond the structure and the support structure incorporates a system of movable adjustable holders (15) and anvils (10).
