Abstract
Description
Opis wynalazkuDescription of the invention
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest pojemnik rozpuszczalny w wodzie. The present invention relates to a water-soluble container.
Water-soluble containers are known and have many uses, for example, for washing clothes. For example, CA 1112534 describes a water soluble detergent container. The water-soluble material can be, for example, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH). This document describes one compartment having a foil wall of constant thickness. Since the wall of the chamber has a constant thickness, the entire wall must be dissolved before the product leaves the chamber. In some circumstances, the product may be quickly available before the entire container is dissolved.
A water-soluble container containing one or more separate chambers for storing a product is known from the patents No. WO 01/83668, No. EP 593 952, No. GB 2356 842 and WO 01/36290, at least part of the wall of at least one chamber is dissolving sooner than the rest of the chamber allowing product to exit the chamber.
The water-soluble container according to the invention is characterized in that at least a part of the wall dissolvable before the rest of each compartment forms a plate, at least a part of the wall at least partially surrounding the plate, which after dissolution of at least part of the wall is at least partially torn off while remaining undissolved.
Korzystnie przynajmniej część ścianki zawiera co najmniej jedną część w postaci elementu zaciskowego przytrzymującego płytkę aż do rozpuszczenia.Preferably, at least a portion of the wall comprises at least one clamping member portion holding the wafer until dissolved.
Korzystnie przynajmniej część ścianki jest cieńsza niż reszta pojemnika.Preferably, at least part of the wall is thinner than the rest of the container.
Preferably, the portion has a reduced thickness on the inside surface of the chamber wall.
Korzystnie pojemnik jest wykonany przez formowanie wtryskowe.Preferably the container is made by injection molding.
Korzystnie przynajmniej część materiału, z którego pojemnik jest utworzony, jest poli(alkoholem winylowym).Preferably at least a portion of the material from which the container is formed is polyvinyl alcohol.
Korzystnie przynajmniej część materiału, z którego pojemnik jest wykonany, jest poli(kwasem mlekowym).Preferably at least part of the material of which the container is made is polylactic acid.
Preferably, at least some of the material of which the container is made is starch-based.
Preferably the entire container is made of the same material.
Korzystnie pojemnik jest elastyczny.Preferably the container is flexible.
Preferably, the container comprises at least two compartments each having a plate, with at least portions of the wall for each plate having a different dissolution rate ensuring the successive release of products from the compartments.
The solution according to the invention provides for providing a container with at least one product compartment, at least part of the wall of the compartment or at least one compartment being adapted to dissolve sooner than the rest of the compartment, allowing the product to escape. This means that the chamber does not need to be completely dissolved for product to exit. This is very advantageous as it thus shortens the time taken for the product to be released from the chamber. It also allows greater control of the time it takes for the product to be released as the surface area that has to be dissolved is reduced.
A container having more than one compartment allows the gradual release of the products. In its simplest form, a chamber provided with means for releasing the product before it is completely dissolved may be connected to a chamber without such means. More complex systems may include chambers that allow the products to be released at various times before the chambers are completely dissolved.
Mycie naczyń czasem obejmuje etap wprowadzania detergentu i oddzielny etap płukania. W wielu przypadkach jest korzystne, a czasem istotne, aby różne etapy prania były całkowicie rozdzielone. The ability of such containers to successively release multiple products is extremely important. For example, washing clothes typically includes a step of introducing detergent and a subsequent step in which a softening agent is introduced. Dishwashing sometimes includes a detergent introduction step and a separate rinsing step. In many cases it is preferable, and sometimes essential, that the various washing steps be completely separate.
By providing a sequential release of the products, as is the case with the invention, it is not necessary to carry out specific steps manually in the different washing steps and allows the entire washing product to be packed and delivered.
Jednakże możliwe jest również, że taSaid at least part of the wall is most often the outer wall of the container which, upon dissolution, thus releases the product from the container. However, it is also possible that this
Part of the wall is a portion of the chamber that fits inside another chamber that contains water. As a result, the contents of the chambers may be mixed when at least part of the wall is dissolved. This may be useful, for example, if the product in the inner chamber is activated by the product in the outer chamber. This allows for activation in a controlled environment before the activated product is released to the outside of the container, and can be useful for products that become unstable after activation.
According to the invention, there are many ways to form the container so that the product is released from the chamber when part of the wall is dissolved. For example, a wall portion may include a closure portion that dissolves to form an opening in the chamber.
Alternatively, said wall portion may be a release portion. When a portion of the wall dissolves, the released portion is torn off as not yet dissolved, creating an opening in the chamber. For example, the releasable portion may be a plate and at least a portion of the wall at least partially surrounds the plate such that it is released either fully or partially when a portion of the wall is dissolved. Alternatively, the wall part may include one or more clamping elements, for example hooks. The clamping elements initially clamp the closure part of the container, but then dissolve and release the released part. Thanks to this solution, only a small part of the wall is dissolved, yet a large opening is quickly created in the container.
There are many ways to create a portion of the wall such that the portion will dissolve sooner than the rest of the container. For example, said at least part of the wall may be made of a thinner material and / or a different material that dissolves more quickly than the rest of the container.
W przykładach wykonania, gdzie przynajmniej część ś cianki jest cieńsza niż reszta pojemnika, grubość materiału można zmniejszyć od strony wewnętrznej powierzchni ścianki komory. Jest to szczególnie dogodne, kiedy wspomniana część ścianki tworzy cienki kanał, ponieważ gdyby grubość materiału została zmniejszona od strony zewnętrznej powierzchni, to kanał mógłby ulec nasyceniu rozpuszczonym materiałem, co mogłoby zahamować dalsze rozpuszczanie. In embodiments where at least a portion of the wall is thinner than the rest of the container, the thickness of the material may be reduced from the inside surface of the chamber wall. This is particularly convenient when said wall portion forms a thin channel, because if the thickness of the material was reduced from the outer surface, the channel could become saturated with dissolved material, which would inhibit further dissolution.
In order to simplify production and enable high throughput, the container may be made by injection molding. In embodiments where at least a portion of the wall is a thin portion surrounding the wafer, the region of the wafer may define an injection port in injection molding. Thereby the thin portion is properly formed and problems with formed regions that are remote from the injection point are avoided.
As stated above, different dissolution characteristics can be achieved by making the container from two or more different materials, at least some of which are water-soluble. However, it may be advantageous to simplify the manufacturing process that the entire container is made of the same material.
In certain example embodiments, at least a portion of the material of the container is polyvinyl alcohol. Alternatively, at least a portion of the material may be polylactic acid or may be starch-based.
The container can be flexible as a result of selecting an appropriate material and / or wall thickness.
Where the container has several walls, the term wall can refer to any wall or to multiple walls. A spherical container, for example, has one face while a cube has six faces. The term is therefore generic and may refer to any portion of the material making up the chamber.
1, fig. 3 przedstawia obudowę z fig. 2 z przymocowaną płytką, fig. 4 przedstawia pojemnik z fig. 3 po początkowym oddziaływaniu wody, fig. 5 przedstawia przekrój przez pojemnik według drugiego przykładu wykonania, fig. 6 przedstawia przekrój przez pojemnik według trzeciego przykładu wykonania. The subject of the application is presented in the embodiment, in the drawing, in which fig. 1 shows a perspective view of the housing being part of the container according to the first embodiment, fig. 2 shows a section along line II-II in fig. 1, fig. 3 shows the casing Fig. 2 with the plate attached, Fig. 4 shows the container of Fig. 3 after the initial exposure to water, Fig. 5 shows a section through the container according to a second embodiment, Fig. 6 shows a section through the container according to a third embodiment.
Każda ze ścianek działowych 16,Figures 1 and 2 show a parallelepiped-shaped housing 10 including a base 11, side walls 12, 13 and end walls 14, 15. The housing 10 is recessed and opened against the base 11 to form a tray-like structure. The housing 10 is made of a water-soluble material. The material can be, for example, a type of PVOH that dissolves at a temperature of about 50 ° C. The interior of the casing 10 is divided into two chambers 30, 31 by spaced apart parallel side partitions 16, 17 which extend from the end wall 15 and their ends are connected by a partition wall 18. Each partition 16,

17, 18 ma wysokość taką jak ścianki 12, 13, 14, 15 obudowy 10. Część podstawy 11, która jest ograniczona przez ścianki działowe 16, 17, 18 posiada płytkę 19 otoczoną przez obszar cieńszego materiału 20, którego przeznaczenie zostanie opisane dokładniej poniżej.17, 18 has a height such as the walls 12, 13, 14, 15 of the housing 10. The base portion 11 which is delimited by the partition walls 16, 17, 18 has a plate 19 surrounded by an area of thinner material 20, the purpose of which will be described in more detail below.
Na fig. 3 pokazana jest obudowa 10 z fig. 1 i 2, tworząca część pojemnika 1. The housing 10 is closed by a wall 25. The chambers 30, 31 are filled with various products before applying the wall 25. The wall 25 comprises a plate 26 and an area of thinner material 27 facing an identical region of thinner material in housing 10. Wall 25 may be attached to housing 10 by any suitable means, for example by welding or gluing, interference fit, or clamping. In this embodiment, the closure is obtained by a chemically activated face bond, in this case water, and is supported internally by a wall 28 facing downward from wall 25.
In this embodiment, the wall thickness of the housing and the plate are approximately 0.4 mm. This is almost the smallest thickness that the material can have without the risk of creating perforations, i.e. tiny holes in the material that could compromise the integrity of the chamber. The thinner areas of the material are approximately 0.15 mm thick and are formed by reducing the thickness of a small portion of the material which is otherwise uniform in thickness.
In use, the container 1 is placed in an aqueous environment and the temperature is increased above the dissolution temperature of the container material. When container 1 begins to dissolve, the thinner areas 20, 27 will completely dissolve sooner than the rest of container 1. As a result, plates 19, 26 will be torn off from wall 25 and base 11 so that product can exit chamber 31. Of course, plates 19 , 26 do not need to be completely removed to obtain the desired effect. For example, the areas of thinner material 20,27 may only partially enclose the plates 19,26 such that the plates 19,26 become flaps that hinge open. The product from the chamber 31 cannot escape until the rest of the container 1 has dissolved.
Fig. 5 shows a second embodiment. In this example, two separate chambers 130, 131 are formed from two separate, recessed, cubic housings 110a, 110b that are connected to each other along adjacent side walls 112a, 112b. Each housing 110a, 110b is open along one side but is closed by a plate 125a, 125b, in this case joined to the housings 110a, 110b by adhesive. Plates 125a, 125b are formed of different types of PVOH that dissolve at different rates, with plate material 125a having a faster dissolution rate. Thus, in this embodiment, housing plate 125a 110a dissolves sooner than housing plate 125b 110b, whereby product will come out first.
Na fig. 6 pokazano pojemnik 201 z jedną komorą 230. Sześcienna obudowa 210 zawiera podstawę 211 i ścianki boczne 214, 215. Otwarty bok obudowy 210 jest zamknięty ścianką 225. Przynajmniej część 220 ścianki 225 określa płytkę 225' i przynajmniej częściowo otacza płytkę 225'.6 shows a container 201 with one compartment 230. The cubic housing 210 includes a base 211 and side walls 214,215. The open side of the housing 210 is closed by a wall 225. At least a portion 220 of the wall 225 defines a plate 225 'and at least partially surrounds the plate 225'. .
Część 220 jest zaciskana pod wypustem 235 utworzonym wokół otwartego boku obudowy 210.The wall 225 is held on the housing 210 by at least one clip portion 220 extending from its edge. Part 220 is clamped under a tab 235 formed around the open side of housing 210.
Część 220 jest cieńsza niż reszta pojemnika 201. Podczas używania pojemnika 201 część 220 rozpuszcza się wcześniej niż reszta pojemnika 201 tak, że wypust 235 nie przytrzymuje już płytki 225', a zatem umożliwia oderwanie się płytki 225' od obudowy 210.Part 220 is thinner than the rest of the container 201. In use of the container 201, the part 220 dissolves earlier than the rest of the container 201 such that the tab 235 no longer holds the plate 225 'and thus allows the plate 225' to detach from the housing 210.
