Abstract

Patent claims

1. A loudspeaker mounting cage with self-aligning elements having peripheral detent elements integral with or attached to the cage and possibly resilient, which are assembled by engagement with the edges of a standardized hole to seat the loudspeaker in the body of a motor vehicle or the like, characterized by that the catch elements (6) are formed by fixed and rigid teeth (6 '), at least one of which has a greater extension and defines a deeper, underlying channel (12) than the smaller tooth of these elements, such that the or each tooth of the greater extension engages behind the engaging edge of the standardized hole (4) and the tooth or each tooth of lesser extension passes without deflection through this hole and through a substantially centered cage (1) so that the engaging edge of the hole enters the smaller or any underlying hole channel.
