The essence of the industrial design is a new form of the object, intended for aesthetic purposes, manifested in its shape and the arrangement of the edge lines of its components. The subject of the industrial design is presented in the attached illustrative material, in which Fig. 1 shows the mechanism for unfolding and folding upholstered furniture from the front in a neutral position; Fig. 2 shows the mechanism from an axonometric view in a neutral position; Fig. 3 shows the mechanism from the front in the end position when the upholstered furniture is unfolded; Fig. 4 shows the mechanism from the front in the end position when the upholstered furniture is folded. The mechanism for unfolding and folding upholstered furniture is shaped like a parallelogram, with two arms: the lower and upper, parallel to each other. The lower arm is shaped like a flat bar with longitudinal recesses at its ends, and the upper arm is shaped like an angle bar. The lower and upper arms are connected to the vertical arms and are shaped like a flat bar. One arm is straight along its entire length, in a neutral position and perpendicular to the lower and upper arms, while the other arm is a gentle arc, profiled in the shape of the letter "C," with its convexity directed towards the straight arm. In addition, the straight vertical arm has a flat bar-shaped handle slightly above halfway up, placed perpendicular to the arm, and the handle is equipped with a pin-shaped hook. The second vertical arm has a pin-shaped hook at the height of the straight arm's handle.
